Environmental, Social &

Governance Initiatives

The APCC has developed the Australia & New Zealand Health Procurement Roundtable (ANZHPR) ESG Library to support agencies and procurement practitioners with information and guidance to facilitate environmental, social and governance initiatives.

The ANZHPR is an interactive forum made up of senior representatives from government health procurement agencies. In recognition of current global challenges and to support the goals of the ANZHPR, the Environment, Social and Governance (ESG) Working Group was established to develop and integrate ESG principles into procurement practices in the public health system across Australia and New Zealand.

ESG Vision

ESG Principles

  2. We will incorporate ESG factors into our procurement policies and practices

  3. We will seek appropriate disclosure on ESG factors by our suppliers

  4. We will incorporate progress towards implementing these ESG principles in our organisational reporting
